It all started when…

"Although we met in Arizona 22 years ago and got engaged while on a work trip in Malaysia, Mexico was once home to both of us at different times of our lives and has always been a common bond between us. It is this shared love for Mexico that led us to want to get married in Mexico. It is also this love that drives us to make our ceremony have a positive impact, while reducing as many negative impacts as possible. Therefore, we ask that if you are considering giving a gift to us, that you instead give directly to Caminos de Agua, an organization that means so much to both us and the community that is welcoming us for our wedding ceremony."

Caminos de Agua joins in the celebration of the marriage of Cameron Plese and Casey Thurston on October 20th, 2020 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. As you celebrate with us, Cameron and Casey are asking that if you feel compelled to give them a gift for their marriage, that you instead make a donation in their honor to Caminos de Agua.

Caminos de Agua is the organization Cameron worked with while he lived in San Miguel de Allende, and their mission is to provide open-source water solutions for communities at-risk in Central Mexico, and leverage those solutions for others confronting similar water challenges throughout the world. Your donation will help Caminos de Agua to innovate and implement water solutions that create adequate access to safe, healthy drinking water supplies for communities.
